Here is our little before and after. I am in love with the results. Bye bye 1980 and hello 2012. Brass is GONE! So is the hollywood light fixture that I HATED.
A ton of primer and work and this is the result. Did you know you can use primer on metal? Yup, look for our silver medicine cabinet in the before pic. It is now white thanks to this primer.
A few new towels, a few cans of spray paint on all the old towels holders we had and a new shower curtain and our bathroom is clean and pretty. All we need is some faucets down the road and the entire bath will be updates. We even spent $10 and got a new ceiling fixture to match downstairs.

The paint we used on the fixtures, towels bars, hinges, etc. is called Do it best - Rust coat enamel in Anodized bronze. It's not the best and needs extra coats but we had it in the garage.
The paint on the wall is Manchester tan by Sherwin Williams (We had it made at Lowes to save a little money)
Towels, shower curtain, light and decor items are all from Walmart.
Knobs are contractors knobs from Home Depot. $10 for 10 of them.
Total cost for the project was just under $100 and this included all decor.
You can spray paint the sink hardware. Use Rustoleum Oil rubbed Bronze to match all your other hardware. Looks great!!!!

I actually have a can of the exact stuff you are talking about in my garage for another project (the other bathroom). I may break down and spray them. Thanks!
DeleteWell done! The power of paint never ceases to make me happy. And the framed mirror just kicks up the character another notch. :-)
